Gain the academic skills required for higher-level study in broadcast media and journalism.

Through a mix of tutorials, group projects and individual work, this programme will equip you with the academic skills required for higher-level study in broadcasting and media - specifically, Ara's Bachelor of Broadcasting Communications (available in three specialisations).

You'll learn how to write academic texts, do presentations and sit exams. Subject-specific courses include writing and storytelling and te reo Māori. You can also choose from applied maths, media design and development, software design and development and health and interpersonal relationships.
